Our Free Summer Programming Kicks Off in June! Enroll and See What Our Community is Like!

Arizona Virtual Academy’s (AZVA) tuition-free online summer school will start on June 2! AZVA’s summer school is open to all Arizona students, no matter where they attend school during the regular school year. The summer school sessions will provide a flexible and supportive summer learning experience, offering online general education courses and K12 enrichment opportunities such as Summer Quest and the K12 Zone.
Virtual learning gives students the flexibility to work whenever and wherever they learn best! This can be critical during the summer, when students are often balancing family trips, summer sports, seasonal jobs, and more. AZVA’s virtual platform supports students to complete the requirements necessary for academic success, while still enjoying their summer fun.
This summer AZVA will be offering the following general education A and B courses:
- Math: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry
- English: English 1–4, Creative Writing
- History: World History, U.S. History
- Science: Earth Science, Life Science (Biology), Physical Science
- Electives: Archaeology, Music Appreciation
- Grades 6–8: ELA Skills Recovery Course
In addition to courses, AZVA provides access to a variety of enrichment opportunities, including Summer Quest, the K12 Zone and STEAM camp.
The K12 Zone hosts online weekly national challenges and games to encourage peer connection and collaboration. Meanwhile, Summer Quest helps students reinforce core skills and explore new topics through engaging, hands-on online activities.
AZVA’s College and Career Planning Team will also host a weeklong online STEAM Camp, providing students with experiential learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Students who engage in summer learning are more likely to perform better academically, graduate on time, and pursue additional education. Summer School is an investment in their future success.
